HRworks is awarded the "My Boss is a Patriot" certificate of appreciation by the Department of Defense. The award recognizes employers who provide exceptional support to their employees who serve in the National Guard or Reserve. The company was nominated by employee Wesley Shropshire, Master Sergeant in the USMC Reserve.

Wes also presented HRworks with a United States flag flown in Al Asad, Iraq, on August 12, 2004.
